Modern mountain bike trails are fun, flowy and challenging. This full-suspension 29er gets you in sync with the terrain, so you can ride with more confidence and have more fun.
Key Performance Factors
Attainable trail performance
Handcrafted with lightweight, stiff and durable ALUXX aluminum, it’s the perfect entry to full-suspension performance.
Smooth suspension
FlexPoint Suspension technology helps you tackle challenging terrain and improve your trail riding capabilities.
29er confidence and control
Larger diameter wheels roll over rugged terrain with balance and stability, giving you the momentum to tackle technical climbs and the confidence to fly on singletrack descents.
Highlights
The lightweight and durable ALUXX aluminum frame features our FlexPoint rear suspension system for a smooth, balanced ride that keeps you in control. It gives you 120mm of smooth suspension travel in the rear and 130mm up front. Combine that with the added stability of 29-inch wheels and you get a confident ride to help you crush challenging descents and climb with greater traction and speed.
ALUXX Aluminium
Formed from raw material in Giant’s own forging facility, this proprietary alloy features 30 percent additional stiffness over traditional 6061-series aluminum, while reducing overall weight.
Flexpoint Suspension
A proven single-pivot design that uses the flexing action of the chainstay/seatstay junction to produce a lightweight and durable suspension system with 120mm of rear-wheel travel.
OVERDRIVE
Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 ½” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
POWERCORE
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86mm wide bottom bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
29er Trail Geometry
Designed for confident trail riding, 67.5/75 headtube/seattube angles deliver smooth handling and optimize roll-over capabilities and momentum of 29-inch wheels.
Internal Cable Routing
Derailleur, brake and dropper post cables are routed internally through integrated ports. This helps saves weight and creates a cleaner look and performance.
Techs & Features
ALUXX Aluminum Technology
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
FlexPoint Suspension Technology
A proven “single-pivot” design that uses the flexing action of the chainstay/seatstay junction to produce a lightweight and durable suspension system with 4.7 inches/120mm of rear travel.
OverDrive
Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
Tubeless System
Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
PowerCore
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design (92-millimeter wide for off-road bikes). Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.

Weight | The most accurate way to determine any bike’s weight is to have your local dealer weigh it for you. Many brands strive to list the lowest possible weight, but in reality weight can vary based on size, finish, hardware and accessories. All our bikes are designed for best-in-class weight and ride quality. |
