Access more terrain on Mukluk Deore 11.
We designed our aluminum fat tire bike with clearance for huge tires to provide maximum float on soft surfaces, and mounts for carrying extra water, bikepacking gear, and your #CoffeeOutside setup. Alternator 1.0 dropouts let you tweak ride quality for different missions. Custom-studdable tires offer tunable traction. Shimano’s robust Deore 11-speed drivetrain gives you loads of gear range and smooth shifts. Put it all together and you’ve got a bike that’s a joy to ride even when the terrain seems daunting.
Key Features
On-Bike Storage
Carry more on your bike and less on your body. Our frames and forks feature mounts for extra bottles, camping gear, and ride accessories.
Alternator Dropouts
Tune your ride characteristics and switch to single speed with ease. Our swappable dropout plates allow for multiple drivetrain options.
6066-T6 Aluminum Frame
Top-shelf, double and triple-butted, heat-treated 6066-T6 aluminum tubing is used throughout the frame. This 6000-series aluminum has better strength and fatigue characteristics than 6061 and 7000-series aluminums, allowing for a stronger and lighter overall frame. Additionally, the tubing is strategically shaped and formed for additional stiffness and strength optimization in key stress areas
Mukluk Geometry
Mukluk’s geometry works extremely well in all conditions and use cases, whether it's riding groomed singletrack at your local trail, exploring a coastline, or embarking across the wild frozen expanses of Alaska. We use the shortest chainstays possible with a headtube angle and fork offset that place the rider’s center of gravity farther back. This combination of front and rear center is key to getting a fat bike that is stable, steers well in loose conditions, and still feels nimble despite the massive wheels and tires. A low bottom bracket also keeps the rider’s center of gravity low and makes dabbing, dismounting, and remounting easier
26 x 4.6” Wheel & Tire Size
Mukluk rolls on 26 x 4.6" tires on 80 mm rims. This huge tire delivers massive traction, stability, and optimum floatation on soft surfaces such as ungroomed snow or loose sand
Bearpaw Fork
This carbon fork features a 150 x 15 mm thru-axle that boosts stiffness and improves steering precision. The fork also features our Three-Pack mounts for accessorizing with Anything Cages or water bottle cages
Alternator Dropouts V1.0
The Alternator dropout delivers incredible drivetrain versatility. Run singlespeed or geared, QR or thru-axle, freehub or Rohloff. Set the Alternator dropouts all the way forward for a shorter wheelbase that results in quick and nimble handling, or set back for more stability—the power is yours.
