Airflow for the fire is allowed through at the bottom where you need it while blocking the wind elsewhere in the heat zone.
The Small Windscreen works perfectly with the 3” G2 Nano and an 8” Frypan / Small Firebox Ultra Cook Kit.

The Small Firebox Windscreen is specifically designed to fit the 3” G2 Nano and big enough in diameter to go all the way around the 8” Frypan / Small Ultra Cook Kit. This Windscreen will fit the Firebox Scout and Firebox Freestyle Stoves as well but does not work well with the 5” G2 Firebox. The Small Windscreen will work with any cookware smaller than 8” in diameter.
