Small but mighty, this highly capable trail bike is for little rippers with big ambitions. Its lightweight alloy frame, high-performance wheels, and youth-tuned suspension balance efficient climbing, loads of traction, and confident handling to help young trail riders take it to the next level.
Key Performance Factors
YOUTH-TUNED SUSPENSION
FlexPoint rear suspension with a Giant Crest FloTrac Lite shock delivers 135mm of smooth travel tuned specifically for lighter weight riders. Up front, the 140mm Giant Crest SL FloTune Lite fork handles rocks, roots and ruts. Front and rear suspension both have minimal activation force, giving young riders smooth control and confidence on technical trails.
AGILE AND EFFICIENT
An ALUXX SL aluminum frameset with youth-specific trail geometry is combined with quality lightweight components to minimize weight and help young riders tackle challenging terrain. A new Giant TRA WheelSystem (27.5-inch front/26-inch rear) borrows key technologies from the proven adult TRA WheelSystem for improved climbing capabilities and quicker acceleration.
OFF-ROAD CONTROL
TRA WheelSystem with WideGuard technology results in lighter, stronger rims so riders can run lower tire pressures for better traction without the risk of tire punctures or rim damage. The mixed wheel setup combines the agile handling of the 26-inch rear wheel with the improved rollover capabilities of the 27.5-inch front, while a dropper seatpost makes it easy to optimize riding position while climbing or descending.
Techs & Features
ALUXX SL Aluminum Technology
This High-Performance level, state-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.
FlexPoint Suspension Technology
A proven “single-pivot” design that uses the flexing action of the chainstay/seatstay junction to produce a lightweight and durable suspension system with 4.7 inches/120mm of rear travel.
Tubeless System
Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
OverDrive
Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.

Weight | The most accurate way to determine any bike’s weight is to have your local dealer weigh it for you. Many brands strive to list the lowest possible weight, but in reality weight can vary based on size, finish, hardware and accessories. All our bikes are designed for best-in-class weight and ride quality. |
