Immediately comfortable, great lacing system, and a great toebox for wide feet and/or thick socks.

They fit great right away, are comfortable enough to walk around in all day on pavement and cement floors, and the flat laces lock securely into the hooks on the upper portion of the boot. Yes, they take a moment's attention to secure, but they haven't come undone once (unlike the round laces on my Oboz Bridger boots - great boots, poor laces). They're also surprisingly light for such a rugged and capable boot. If these have the longevity of the Bridgers (5 years and counting), they're well worth the investment.
