Solution Dye
Solution dyeing is an eco-friendly process used to add colour to synthetic fibers during their production, rather than dyeing the fabric after it is woven. In this method, colour pigments are added to the liquid polymer before it is extruded to create fibers. The coloured fibers are then spun into yarn and used to produce fabric.
Solution dyeing offers several environmental benefits compared to traditional dyeing techniques. It significantly reduces water consumption, as it eliminates the need for large amounts of water typically used in post-weaving dyeing processes. Additionally, it minimizes the release of harmful chemicals and dye pollutants into water sources. Fabrics produced using solution dyeing are also known for their excellent colorfastness and resistance to fading, resulting in more durable and long-lasting products.
