Tilley Hats - Size Guide
THE RIGHT FIT
At Tilley, our hats are designed to sit comfortably low on the head. The proper fit should be slightly loose, as gravity will keep your Tilley in place.
Step 1: Wrap a string around the widest part of your head, located 1 to 2 cm above the top of your ears and brow line.
Step 2: Determine the measurement with a ruler, then add 2 cm to the total, for comfort.
Step 3: Convert that final measurement into your hat size in the chart below.

For the first time ever, we’ve crafted the ideal winter Airflo hat that is twice as warm as loose down, four times warmer than polyester, yet light, slim and breathable like the original.
Reconstructing the LTM5 using Italian Thindown fill, we have achieved the same slim silhouette with enhanced heat trapping ability, also using a taslan-nylon shell that looks and feels like cotton with added water repellency and wind resistance. Features include tuckaway microfleece ear flaps for extra warmth and our classic hidden pocket for on-the-go storage.
If between sizes recommended to size up since the fit is slightly tighter than the original LTM5.
